About Me

For a long time, I’ve been curious about how we find a sense of connection and belonging. In childhood, when choices are limited, we get creative in finding ways to stay safe and connected. As adults, those early strategies may no longer serve us. However, I’ve found that when people feel secure on a deep, somatic level, this embodied sense of safety empowers us to make new choices.

I spent several years learning about the language of the body and how it relates to connection, bringing trauma-informed mindful movement to studios, K-12 schools, and in-patient rehabs. In our sessions, we will often work with your immediate, felt experience, so that we can practice new ways of being here and now.

In the therapy room, I prioritize an attachment lens, which means I pay attention not only to what you tell me about your relationships with others, but how we relate to one another.

I also care deeply about our connection to the wider world, and I am interested how broader social and ecological systems impact you. Culturally affirming, I am committed to continued un-learning of the colonial conditioning that has created the macrosystems we all navigate.
